Are there any actual banks that give loans to people with bad credit?

November 5th, 2009 | by admin |

I need a loan as soon as possible to cover an unexpected expense, but due to unfortunate circumstances, I have bad credit. I don’t want a payday loan, so I was wondering if anybody knew of an actual bank that gives loans to people with bad credit?
Please no payday loans, and I’ve tried Prosper already.

What I’m looking for is an actual bank, not a bad-credit website because I don’t trust those.

You might have to reasearch more options, bad credit hurts a lot of people. http://www.americaschoicetoday.com/Payday-Loan.html

To much tighening with the credit markets. Unless you have a credit score of 700 plus, or major collatoral, I wouldn’t even bother trying a bank.

If you don’t have a credit score of at least 700 and the way the economy is going right now, you can forget about about it… Try to get a co-signer who has good credit to apply with you.. other than that, there’s no other options..

Depends on how bad your credit is, how much you need, what it for and if you have any collateral. But the truth is in this time it is very hard. your own bank is the best bet if you have an active account and have a ballance every month of atleast 1/3 of what you are asking for. Unless you are trying to buy anytype of property. Go to website for more info.

Unfortunately everyone is right in the way the banks are with lending money they are to tight on there criteria. That is why there are payday loans which are here to provide people with bad credit a chance to get a short term loan. That is the way to categorize payday loans "Short Term Loans" they are not long term solutions. You can usually find payday loans with interest at about 15% per hundred dollars or so depending on the company and what the state allows to charge for interest.
